As your trusted Rheumatologists, we know first-hand how difficult COVID-19 has been on you, your families, businesses, and daily lives. Finally, the first COVID-19 vaccines have been FDA approved and offers hope for a turning point in the pandemic! After fast tracked funding and worldwide collaboration, these vaccines represent a culmination of years of scientific breakthroughs and technologic advancements and offer us a light at the end of the pandemic tunnel.

There are still many questions to answer so we expect there will be even more information for rheumatology patients in the upcoming months. The bottom line is we recommend you take the vaccine as soon as it is available to you.

Our office will not be able to administer the vaccine but we all plan to take it. We know that you may still have concerns and provide answers below. As always, be sure to discuss specifics with your doctors at your appointments. Keep up the good work with wearing a mask, washing your hands, and watching your distancing/gatherings.
